Members of the Council are hereby summoned to attend a meeting to be held at virtually on Wednesday, 11th November 2020 commencing at 7:30pm for the purpose of transacting the following business:

 

The meeting will be open to the public unless the Council directs otherwise.

AGENDA

 

  1. Apologies for Absence.

 

  1. To receive member’s declarations of interest and dispensations in items on the agenda.

Dispensations should be requested from the Clerk up to the day before the meeting.

 

  1. Minutes: Acceptance of the minutes from the Parish Council Meeting held on 14th October 2020.

 

  1. Public participation session with respect to items on the agenda and other matters that are of mutual interest or local concern: A maximum of 15 minutes shall be allowed for public question time and it is requested each member of the public speak for a maximum of 3 minutes.

 

  1. Report from the Clerk: An update on matters arising from the last meeting together with any correspondence received. (Appendix I).

 

  1. To receive a report from the District Councillor.

 

  1. Wethersfield Ward Vacancy: To discuss and agree the co-option of a new councillor.

 

  1. Planning: To consider and make comments to Braintree District Council on the following application/s:

 

20/01545/HH- The Bull, Blackmore End

Proposed cart lodge and alterations to driveway

 

20/01656/HH –  38 Saffron Gardens Wethersfield

Demolish existing conservatory and brick outbuildings, erect single storey extension to rear and render over existing brickwork.

Erection of a detached semi-permanent building for storage purposes (B8)

 

20/01705/OUT – Silver Springs Beazley End

Outline application with all matters reserved except access for demolition of garage

and construction of a detached dwelling.

Single storey rear extension, Single storey side extension, Replacing flat roof link

element with new pitched roof, Associated alterations and landscaping works

 

20/01694/FUL – Dale House Beazley End

Demolition of existing detached dwelling/associated structures and erection of three

new detached dwellings

  1. Neighbourhood Plan: To receive an update.

 

  1. Community Shop:
  2. To agree to apply for planning permission for the Community Club Shop.
  3. To consider 2 quotes received to replace the Village Hall basement doors and window.

 

  1. Community Clean Up: To discuss the community clean up.

 

  1. The Big Switch On:
  2. To discuss arrangements for the tree.
  3. To agree to pay £500 towards a firework display.

 

  1. Blackmore End Playing Field: To consider 2 quotes received to remove a tree on the playing field.

 

  1. Finance:
    1. To approve payments for signature. (Appendix II)
    2. To agree the 21/22 budget.

 

  1. Items from Councillors to be added to the next Agenda.

 

  1. Next Parish Council Meeting: The next meeting of Wethersfield Parish Council will be held at Virtually on Wednesday, 13th January 2021 commencing at 7.30pm.
