REPRESENTING WETHERSFIELD, BLACKMORE END & BEAZLEY END

 

Members of the Wethersfield Airbase Scrutiny Committee are hereby summoned to attend a meeting to be held at Blackmore End Village Hall on Monday, 29th of November 2021 commencing at 7:30pm for the purpose of transacting the following business:

The meeting will be open to the public unless the Council directs otherwise.

 

AGENDA

1. To Distribute the Terms of Reference

 

2. To Ratify the Committee Membership

 

3. To Appoint a Chairman

 

4. Apologies for Absence.

 

5. To receive member’s declarations of interest and dispensations in items on the agenda.

Dispensations should be requested from the Clerk up to the day before the meeting.

 

6. Clerk: To discuss the arrangements for a committee clerk.

 

7. Future Strategy: To discuss the strategy regarding the Airbase proposals.

 

8. Working Arrangements: To discuss

• Use of Consultants
• Community Groups
• District Councils/ County Councils/ MPs
• Sub-Committees

 

9. Reporting Structure: To discuss arrangements for communication.

 

10. Finance: To discuss financial matters relating to the operation of the Committee

 

11. Neighbourhood Plans: To discuss neighbourhood plans.

 

12. Public participation session with respect to items on the agenda and other matters that are of mutual interest or local concern: A maximum of 15 minutes shall be allowed for public question time, and it is requested each member of the public speak for a maximum of 3 minutes.

 

13. Items from Councillors to be added to the next Agenda.

 

14. Next Committee Meeting: To agree a date for the next meeting.
